Saint Joseph of Cupertino Church
10110 North De Anza Boulevard
Cupertino
The stained glass windows at St, Joseph of Cupertino were created by Carl Huneke in his Century Stained Glass Studio in San Francisco. The windows were installed as the new church was being completed in 1953.
The themes for the windows in the main seating area of the church were selected by the donors with the help of Msgr. Philip F. Ryan, Pastor. The radiant window in the small chapel shows four of the Joyful Mysteries. The colors in the windows are warm reds and yellows with accents of rich violets and soft browns to complement the mission style of the architecture. The flowing figures and serene faces are Carl Huneke’s distinctive artistry.
The church was designed by architect Vincent Raney.
