Chapel Stained Glass Window

A faceted glass window depicting the Dove of Peace was installed in the chapel of Herrick Memorial Hospital in 1966 by Carl Huneke of Century Stained Glass Studio, San Francisco. 

Four small leaded glass panels were also installed in the chapel doors.  Roy B. Futscher, D. Min., was the Chaplain at the time the windows were created.

The chapel was removed about 1978 to provide space for a gift shop and other modifications to the hospital.  The window was stored at that time, and its present disposition is unknown.

Presently (1997), a modern stained glass mural is installed in a lobby area.  That mural is dedicated to the memory of Alfred E. Maffley, Administrator of Herrick Memorial from 1933 until 1967.
